FAR Wind Farm Established in 1943, when Margie’s Grandparents bought a wooded 15 acre plot of land, clearing the first fields with a horse and bucksaw. Many things have changed on the farm over the years nevertheless the farm has always retained a deep respect for Mother Earth and her many gifts. Today the farm is ran by Margie, Gary, Gary II and Kim, who are third and fourth generation farmers under the watchful eye of Floyd who passed the farm on to his eldest daughter Margie in 2006. The farm is known mostly for it’s pasture raised eggs , chicken and goats. Because we know the value of natural raised products our chickens are fed only high quality feeds that are antibiotic, we strive to be GMO free. We do not feed left over breads etc. Our hens are kept in cage free conditions and spend their days in the pasture, eating grasses and bugs. Our eggs are hand collected, and refrigerated 3 times daily. This allows us to produce an old fashion, egg that has rich golden yolks with whites that are fresh and firm. You can truly taste the difference. Always call head before driving out to the farm, since our eggs are often sold out.
