Do you enjoy eating what is seasonally available? Do you prefer local produce? Do you want to become part of a farming community?
You might enjoy joining our CSA! Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a way for consumers to ensure that they will have a ‘share’ of sustainably grown, absolutely no-spray, healthy, Burnt Swamp Farm vegetables reserved for them weekly during peak growing season. CSAs are vital for small farms – the program provides us with the capital we need to begin the farm season and allows us to partner with you to provide healthy produce for your family for 18 weeks during the summer. Our small CSA runs June through September, with weekly share pickups in Exeter, Dover, and Durham. A typical weekly share is designed for 2-4 people and includes one dozen pasture-raised eggs each week. The produce available varies week to week and as the season progresses will include vegetables such as lettuce, radishes, beets, kale, chard, scallions, cucumbers, summer squash, fennel, carrots, potatoes, beans, eggplant, tomatoes, peppers, and a variety of herbs. COST: $500 for 18 weekly shares. Shareholders also receive a 5% discount on any additional produce, eggs, or meat purchased at weekly farmers’ markets.
