Massa Natural Meats; All natural, hormone and antibiotic free, 100% grass-fed beef raised in the valley and foothills of Northern California. For over forty years, the Massa Family has been actively involved in the beef industry, beginning with a small herd of registered Angus cattle in the 70’s. Selective breeding and careful range management have uniquely created a group of animals that have become a healthy and sustainable alternative to factory farm practices.
After searching for a healthier alternative for their own family’s diet, Duane and Wendy Massa realized there was a real need in the market for naturally raised meats, and so Massa Natural Meats was born. We are truly a family-run operation.
Our customers enjoy knowing that the source ranch for our beef (the Massa Ranch in rural Glenn County) is an active participant in numerous conservation efforts geared towards agricultural sustainability. They are actively converting water wells to solar power, provide additional habitat for wildlife, and are currently embarking on a project with the Xerces Society to propagate wildflowers in a effort to recover native pollinator species.
We are proud to offer fresh, all natural, 100% grass-fed beef directly to the consumer. Our beef inspected and processed by a USDA approved facility and is dry aged for a full 21 days. We offer our meat by the individual cut or custom butcher of a ¼, ½, or whole beef. Local delivery and nationwide shipping is available.
