Plum Hill Farm CSA & Daylilies Hot

2012 is our 18th year of CSA.
Plum Hill Farm is a 102-acre ecological preserve consisting of hilly woodlands, marshes, and fertile croplands located 28 mi. SE of Madison and 6.5 mi. South of Cambridge in Jefferson Co.
This past year the entire farm was put into ‘The Land Trust Network of Jefferson Co.’ insuring that it will remain preserved for agriculture forever, without the threat of development.
For over 30 years we've grown our crops using only sustainable practices, without the use of any synthetic fertilizers, chemicals, municipal compost, or genetically modified seeds. We highly respect the land and the water, with food safety being our highest concern. Our CSA is your connection between local small-scale agriculture, the farm & its members, & the produce that’s grown ‘especially for you’.We offer only 'farm pick-up’ on your designated day, Monday or Thursday, 5pm. -7pm,
with the choice of day determined by the seniority among the membership.
Our members receive a generous size ‘share’ of premium quality produce averaging 10lb+ weekly for 18 weeks from late May/early June into late September/early October.The‘share' weight will increase as the season progresses. Note: we don't use standard csa size boxes as it doesn't all fit in!
We grow heirlooms & hybrids that we’ve trialed & selected over the years for their flavor
& productiveness, with new ones being trialed yearly.

We are also a state-licensed mail order Daylily nursery offering hardy,
distinctive cultivars including our own introductions.All are Rust-free & grown as ‘natural’ as our produce.
Your gardens can be locally grown as well.
