Verger de la Rivière Cocagne Orchard River extends to more than 45 acres : 6 acres of apple trees and 30 plum trees. The apple trees produce mainly Cortland, McIntosh and Lobo apples. The following varieties are also available but in a smaller quantity : Spartan, Yellow Transparent Dudley, Red Cort and Priscilla (crab apples). Other varieties will be added in 2012 like apples to produce apple cider and some older varieties.
The orchard has a section where you will find magnificent apple trees that are more than 75 years old ! A hike among these grandiose trees is a unique and memorable experience.
