range of seasonal veggies & fruits. Also other baked (or not) goodies. Local pecans practically year round. What I call "openers" (items available for the 1st/2nd time of the season) go very very quickly, so do eggs & milk.
Honey is a hot cake kind of item when ...bees accommodate the keepers !
Crafters are unusual ones, but pretty good at their stuff. (about 25 % of the vendors.)
10 am is the latest for a good choice of fresh produces.
Lovely morning market. It's been around for several years now, but is still not well known. Much better parking than most local markets around here. They only allow local farmers and crafters which is definitely a plus. Lots of clean food here, but most of the clean farmers are not certified. They say it's too expensive for a small farm, but they follow the same practices. :-) The farmers are all very friendly and are always happy to talk about their products. They have lots of unusual veggies that you don't find in a grocery store, but get there early to get the best selection. The best things go really fast here. Definitely a Foodie and Locavore market!
I love this market. Get there early for the most choices. There is one certified organic farm & several that abide by organic principles. Raw milk for animals, meats, cheeses, artisans, glutein-free baker, chocolatier, wonderful & rare heirloom vegetables are available and fruits & berries sell quickly. Not as big as Greene Street, but a Saturday morning necessity to the family eating healthy all week. And it is central to our community.
