I have limited experience in farm market products and I don't know what to look for in the foods or farmers. I haven't bought meats there yet, but the produce seems excellent. At one stand it is even separated out to what can be bougtht with food stamps and what cannot.
Most consumers are now interested in buying healthier foods and there are not enough vendors offering or marking their meats, fish and produce as organic, GMO-free, and antibiotic-free.
Nice selection of everything to choose from and the vendors are friendly and helpful however not interested in offering a more healthy choice.
I have been going here for 37 years. It should be featured on a food network. Also it could compete with Reading Terminal Market. This market has local farmers, local ethnic cuisine that is from the PA Dutch Heritage to Mediterranean and Puerto Rican influence that dominates this area.
