The Yellow Green Farmers Market is an incubator of the entrepreneurial spirit.  It was designed to encourage people to create a business.  It provides a cost-effective physical location for bakers and candle stick makers, along with gourmet dog food, hot ethic foods, healthy dark chocolates, a full service organic restaurant.

The Yellow Green Farmers Market was founded on the concept of integrating life’s daily necessities with environmental awareness in the Hollywood, Florida area.

A farmers' market is one of best ways to learn from and buy directly from food producers. Yellow Green Farmers Market brings the best of South Florida food entrepreneurs directly to fresh food aficionados.  Following the tradition of open air markets worldwide, each vendor maintains their own stall so there is a unique experience every few feet.  The market has several live entertainers, chef demonstrations, and children’s activities each weekend.

The Yellow Green Farmers Market comes alive with the community, and reflects the heart of the community of South Florida.

Meet local farmers, merchants, artists and craftsmen. Gain a deeper understanding of healthy products, from organic pasta to organic hair products.  You will find plenty of specialty items for gifts and original handcrafted treasures.

The market is in a 100,000 square foot building that once housed a metal-working facility that produced water tanks in the 1950s and 60s.  With the potential for over 350 booths, each a special entrepreneur, you will find the market bustling with energy.

Yellow Green Farmers Market offers free parking and Wi-Fi.

Bring your kids, your friends, and your dogs. YGFM is pet friendly.

The Yellow Green Farmers Market welcomes you every Saturday and Sunday from 8 AM to 4 PM.

The Yellow Green Farmers Market is located at 1940 N. 30 Road & Taft Street in Hollywood, Florida.

The Farmers Market is conveniently located in South Broward County, near Pembroke Pines, Davie, Hallandale, Fort Lauderdale, and North Miami.

I found this place thanks to Twitter. Yes Twitter..I knew I had to stop by and see it for myself so I did. I came here on a Saturday and I could not have been more pleased. The food was delicious, it was a clean market, and the farmers were extremely knowledgeable and pleasant. Im so glad Florida is making an effort to both support locally grown food and encourage a healthier lifestyle. I am very proud of my community and I highly recommend visiting this famers market as there are many other things to do here as well,

I visit this farmers market often and am glad I can do the first review. Since it is open year round they have food from both local and outside of Florida. I’ve gotten to know the farmers a little bit and they are very happy to sell their local produce and increase their income from reselling items they don’t sell. One of the great things is the farmers really know produce and seem to get riper better produce than the supermarkets. There are hundreds of booths here, I can’t imagine it ever being 100% full but there is a buzz here that really captures a community market feeling. There are some arts and crafts and some booths that import stuff but it is minimal and seems to just fill out the place a little. The prepared and specialty food vendors really make this place special. I love to sample a variety of food, and I never leave this place hungry. I do get most of my fruit, vegetables and seafood there. It is all indoors under an open air barn like roof. Place might be fun for kids, it’s decorated with cows and goats and farm stuff. A restaurant in back they serves all organic food including beer and wine, the Olive place has what seems like hundreds of types of olives and they infuse olive oil with every flavor. They have live music at both ends of the place, pets are allowed, lots of seating. When going I plan on at least 2 hours, but I have been able to get my veggies and out again in 15 minutes.
