I shop here often when I'm upstate

I love this place!!!! Whenever I go upstate I make it a point to shop here.

The staff is great, produce is beautiful, baked goods (especially the pies) are AMAZING!!!

They have a nice selection of odds and ends when it comes to gourmet products from all ends of the food spectrum. Great jams, too.

During the summer their own sweet corn and tomatoes are DIVINE...I always make sure to bring extras home to can and freeze.

If you're in the area or passing thru, I certainly recommend this place.

Pros & Cons

Pros
Local produce, great baked goods and gourmet products
Cons
distance, closed in winter

"Black Horse is a family-run farm market. We farm nearly 1000 acres from Cairo up to Saratoga. Our own fields are the major contributor of seasonal produce to our farm market. We make sure that nothing except the freshest quality products available makes it to our shelves. We are proud to offer items such as local fruits and vetables, organic meats, non-GMO corn, crafts, baked goods, artisan sandwiches, and so much more!"
