Great selection of flowers. The market opens up later in the day to allow the farmers time in the morning to pick the produce. So, theory is, what you are getting at this Farmer's Market was picked earlier that day/morning. That's pretty fresh!

Great Farmer's Market in the City!

Great selection of flowers. The market opens up later in the day to allow the farmers time in the morning to pick the produce. So, theory is, what you are getting at this Farmer's Market was picked earlier that day/morning. That's pretty fresh!

Pros & Cons

Pros
Great selection of foods, breads, meats, apples and flowers.
Cons
Parking is difficult when you want to get there at the open. Spaces open up about 2 hours after opening time

A little pricier compared to some other markets, but plenty of variety, and getting to know the farmer and going to the same person year after year is nice. A great place to visit in August/September saturday afternoons. Besides the food, flowers, fresh bakery, homemade jams and jellies, the guy who sells squash will sing to you.

Pros & Cons

Pros
Huge selection. Saturday is best day. Many local area farmers, plus honey, organic meats and eggs and apple orchards.
Cons
Can be VERY crowded, especially early saturday afternoon. Parking is not easy.
