Richardson Farms
Farms & Ranches
I spoke to the store myself via email as I was inquiring as to where I could by food grown either locally or in US because I have found we import entirely too much of our food. It has affected our way of life, costs, and they also do not have the same controls in other countries that we do here.
I have three emails from the store in which they explain they need to keep their selves stocked and the climate here is too moist, which I understand, however how can you market yourself as a local farmers market when you are by trade an importing grocer with the air of fresh local food?
The store is always busy and the food is good..but unless it is marked local or you ask..then its just like shopping at WalMart. This broke my heart too..I loved this store. But at least they were honest.
